Dr. Fink is a Chiropractic Neurologist who observes subtle changes in specific parts of the nervous system to see beyond the symptoms and discover the underlying cause of pain or disease. Our treatments include the safe use of natural, non-invasive health therapies without the use of drugs or surgery.

Functional Neurology was developed over the last 30 years from the teaching of Dr. Ted Carrick, who has developed the Carrick Institute of Higher Learning, where Dr. Fink has completed coursework leading to board certification in Chiropractic Neurology.

Chiropractic Neurology has show success in treating a variety of conditions including dizziness, vertigo, post-stroke rehabilitation, concussion, Post-Concussion Syndrome, radiculopathy,  Alzheimer's/Dementia, Autism Spectrum Disorders, neuropathy, and nerve entrapment syndromes that are consequences of lesions in the central or peripheral nervous system.

Diagnostic Services:

Quantitative EEG (QEEG)
This modality measures brainwaves emitted off of the brain.  We then use a sophisticated software to create a "brain map" of your brain to show areas of imbalance that we can then treat with Neurofeedback training. This amazing technique helps to balance the brainwave activity and is used to treat numerous brain related problems including ADHD, Autism, Concussion, Post-Concussion Syndrome, Anxiety, Insomnia, and Depression to name a few.

Balance Testing
These tests include a history and physical examination of your eye movements, cranial nerves, speech, coordination, gait, and sensation. We will also conduct a Fall Risk Assessment to evaluate your strength, gait (walking pattern), balance, and endurance.

Vestibular Testing
Vestibular testing includes several tests that check how the balance system within your inner ear (vestibular system) is working. These tests are sometimes called a vestibular test battery.  Vestibular testing may be needed if you have symptoms of dizzinessvertigo or if you’re feeling off balance.

At MCC, We utilize infrared video goggles that provide us an accurate assessment of the Vestibular system for the treatment of vertigo, dizziness, and feelings of imbalance.
