Treatment Modalities
Treatment Modalities
-
Spinal Manipulation:
Restoration of spinal alignment and mobility is achieved by various gentle hands-on techniques.
-
Extremity Joint Manipulation:
Hands-on manipulation of extremity joints such as foot/ankle, knees, hips, wrist, elbows and shoulders. Especially useful in sports injuries, chronic joint pains, gait abnormalities, balance problems and chronic pain disorders.
-
Custom Prescribed Rehab Exercises with “one-on-one” instruction:
Patients are guided through exercises in our rehab department and instructed to continue on a home exercise program that is custom designed to meet their specific needs.

-
Custom Foot Orthotics:
Just as a solid and level foundation are critical for constructing a new building, sound foot structure and mechanics is critical for normal lower extremity, hip and lower back function. Many low back, hip and knee problems have been “cured” by addressing underlying foot issues.
-
Soft Tissue Adjunctive Procedures:
Useful modalities such as Ultrasound, Electro-Therapy, and Muscular Release Techniques play a large part of addressing muscular problems that play a huge role in pain syndromes. Many pain syndromes require more than Chiropractic manipulation and thus various “soft-tissue
techniques have proved invaluable in treating the problem thoroughly.
-
Spray and Stretch Myofascial Release:
First developed by the highly respected Dr. Janet Travell, this highly effective technique is employed to release stubborn tight muscles.
-
Graston Technique:
This technique requires the use of any of 6 special hand-held instruments to “work out” scar tissue in many types of soft tissue problems such as tendonitis, skin scarring from injury or surgery, plicae syndrome, plantar fascitis, carpal tunnel syndrome etc.
-
Dietary Recommendations / Nutritional Counseling:
This is a mainstay of the Multi-Care Center. We define Nutrition as: “The study of Food, and it’s ingestion, digestion, absorption, transport, utilization, and elimination”. Depending on results of bloodwork, examination, disease states, reflex testing, genetic history etc, dietary recommendations will be made that best suit your present status.

-
Nutritional Supplementation:
With a good diet, supplementation with specific vitamins, mineral, herbs, amino acids, and enzymes can have a decidedly powerful effect on pushing your nutritional and metabolic imbalances back to normal. For your convenience we stock a variety of supplements from about 15 of the best companies in the market.
-
Detoxification Regimens:
Our program addresses the three main types of toxins: heavy metals, chemicals and toxins produced from our own metabolism and diet.
-
General Exercise and Lifestyle Education:
Advice on exercise is profuse in this day, and much of it is either simply wrong or is not
right for your given individual circumstance. A simple bit of the right advice can be extremely helpful.
-
Laser Therapy:
Class IV laser therapy has been an extremely successful addition to this office. It has proven beneficial in the treatment of sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, spinal stenosis, chronic tendonitis, plantar fascitis and other often difficult to treat conditions.
-
Massage:
Massage helps reduce pain and relieve stress in the body. It can also help relieve anxiety and depression and improve sleep.
